Will you be willing to allow the child to play with the toy as he or she pleases? Toys that require constant adult supervision are generally not good toy investments. Think about the noise the toy will produce. If the cost of the toy reflects a sizeable investment to you, consider if the child will need to be restricted in play because of the amount of money spent.
