Summary: A Big Hit With My 4-Year-Old Princess
Comment: My daughter received this as a gift for her 4th birthday so unlike the reviewer whose daughter went to the store and bought this with her own money, we had no expectations. My daughter is a princess through-and-through... loves dress up, loves fancy things, loves her princesses and castles... and she LOVED this gift. I wouldn't say she takes it out every day but when she does, she goes through the whole video and it is very adorable to watch her trying to imitate the dance moves. I don't expect her to learn to dance from this DVD but am happy to see her up and moving, even though she is still "watching TV". It's not too expensive and I would definitely recommend this gift. I am buying this for my 3 1/2-year-old niece who is also another "princess". My other daughter (I have twins) is not into the princess dress-up as much as her sister and still likes this DVD. Hope this helps - I would definitely recommend this!

Summary: Better than the Barbie Plug n' Play!
Comment: My daughter got it for her 3rd birthday and now that she is 4, she still uses it very regularly! I know some reviews indicate that it won't teach a girl to dance - probably true, but since my daughter already takes dance lessons, it is a wonderful supplement. The moves can be fast, but over time she will pick it up if she's a quick learner. It is SO much better than the Barbie plug n' play mat with DVD my daughter received for her 4th birthday (that one plugs into the tv, but the quality is bad and the interactive feature doesn't work well at all).

Comment: I was a bit confused to see all of the negativity over this as my 4 year old got it for her birthday yesterday and LOVES it :) She made us watch it twice in a row, which is a rare occurance for anything so I know she loves this. She really doesn't care too much about the wand as it is somewhat heavy to hold and dance with, although she loves playing with it apart from the dance mat and video. The dances are fun and actually really aerobic. I know this because I did the video one time through with her and got a pretty good workout! I am glad she got this as I probably would not have bought it for her myself and I am sure that on rainy days and times when we have to be inside this will bring her much joy and fun! I know her playgroup friends will love it also!

Comment: My daughter received this video as a gift for her 4th birthday, and she absolutely loves it!! She really enjoys following the energetic Bella and her friends, and learning how to dance like a princess. It's a great half hour of excercise for her!! As for the reviewer that called the young "Bella" stocky? What are you teaching your children about healthy body image (this is coming from a size 6). She is a beautiful, healthy young girl, and gives a lot of entertainment to all the little "Princesses" out there. Thank you Disney for a wonderful video!!!

Comment: Our 2 1/2 year old loves this. It had to be immediatley opened. She loves the mat, DVD and wand.
It's not however what I thought it was going to be. It does not focus much on teaching dance or steps using the mat like I had thought. The dancing on the DVD is done by a young girl who is accompanied by children from time to time, not any disney princess. Also, the dress the little girl is wearing that's pictured on the box does not come with the set.
Our little girl loves it and that's all that matters, but I wanted others to know what to expect.
