Comment: No good games to match the toy. Even I grew up with better typing games! I wish parents could test drive this product first. Was it even kid tested because I think the manufacturer made a huge mistake investing in this! Parents don't waste your money. It's neither fun nor educational

Comment: My 5 & 7 year old boys enjoy this keyboard. It's better than most qwerty advertised keyboards out there because this one has the shift key on both sides. You simply plug it into your v-smile & play, no batteries required. And it works like an extra controller... they can play all the other games using the controls on the keyboard. The tutorial for typing is great as well as all the other fun activities. And as always, you can order with Amazon with a peace of mind cuz their return proceedures are the best!

Summary: The kids can't put this down!
Comment: I bought this because we have every other V.smile toy and it seemed like a fun addition to our set. Our V.smile is mainly played with by my 3 year old but I was hoping my 10 year old would like this because she likes learning to type. Well my 10 and 12 year olds can't put this down! They LOVE the games. This has A LOT to do on it. They can practice typing with fun games, there are arcade games, they can learn to write emails and there is also a feature where you can earn animals for your collection and they love that (sort of like the neopets website). There is so much to do. My 3 year old plays around with it but its really too advanced for her. An 8 year old neighbor was over last night and played with it for 2 hours! She loved it so much her mom went home and ordered it too! I think this might just be the best v.smile accessory yet (although the kids still LOVE the art studio too). I would recommend this for ages 5-10 (I think my 12 year old is a bit unusual that she likes it!). Great product. I don't write many reviews but the kids just loved this so much that I had to!

Summary: Too hard for a 5 yr. old Good for 7 or 8
Comment: I bought this keyboard for my 5 yr. old grandson. He knows his letters and letter sounds very well. I thought this could be a good learning tool and the next step in his learning process. This would be OK for a 7 or 8 yr. old but at five it is just tedious for him. The games also dont give clear directions. The age range os decieving. It is just too complicated for a child that cant read fairly well. He has been playing his V Smile for 2 years and loves it. He has both the pocket version and the regular one. This would be a 5 star for an older child. Ill exchange it for something else.
