Its dials are graduated in .001-inch increments and have thumbscrews for an easy "0" setting, and its counterbalanced solid steel ball crank handles give you smooth movement. To eliminate interference with the machine table, the handles do not extend below the base.

Summary: Finally, a well-made X-Y Table for the home shop.
Comment: I have found that most of the milling and positioning X-Y Tables available for the home owner / hobbyist are simply not well made and accurate.
Here we have a solid unit with smoothly moving slides all in a useable package with a table large enough to affix the work piece to.
The only detraction is the metric lead screws and dials, necessitating an inch/millimeter conversion.
