Summary: Works Great with VISTA
Comment: When I bought my new laptop with the VISTA operating system, it came with Microsoft WORKS, but not MSWORD. Nobody else has WORKS, so I had to buy MSWORD in order to exhange and read documents. MS Office Home 2007 loaded up easily, and is totally compatible with VISTA. I have had no problems. I do need to learn the latest MSWORD commands, pretty easy though. I like it!

Summary: Big Changes to MS Office 2007
Comment: MS Office Home and Student 2007 has changed drastically! In an attempt to make it more user friendly, they've rearranged the menu organization. I feel like I've had to relearned the whole software. MS Office doesn't make it easy to put your good old tool bar icons back in place. It's difficult to accomplish what were easy changes before. Some of this will likely improve as you get use to the new formatting.

Be sure you program MS Word to be compatible with the older version 2003.

If you really like MS Office 2003 then I would encourage you to delay until you absolutely have to upgrade.
