Summary: comfortable, cool, sleek , sharp knife!
Comment: This at $9.99 was a great buy! Will do the job. Sharp blade, very cool feel in hand and fits hand nicely, cleans up easily without food getting stuck in places where normal knifes have parts glued or bolted together. I did cut finger tip with it, so watch how you handle it.
No need for more expensive knife, however, to do ordinary chef knife jobs.

Summary: Rustoleum...
Comment: I was not impressed with this knife. It was not amazingly sharp when I first used it, and after I washed it following its first use, it rusted! I dried it and it still rusted!! There are rust spots everywhere, and the knife is as dull as my commentary. I do not recommend this knife. It is of poor quality. Save the money and get something better.

Summary: Good, but not great
Comment: I realize that this review is going to be an opinion, rather than a statement of fact. However, as much as I like this knife, (and it has many good things in its favor), I still strongly prefer my Wusthof Trident chef's knife, which feels like an extension of my hand.

I have very tiny hands and this knife, although it has a fairly short blade, has a fat handle, which makes it slightly difficult to control with tiny hands, especially when those hands are greasy or dirty from cooking.

I found the steel that is the material used in this knife is slightly harder than that in my other chef's knives (Wusthof, Henckel's Zwilling, and Sabatier). That makes this knife harder to sharpen. It arrived nicely sharpened, and a few flicks of the steel was all that was required at first. But when it came time for the sharpening stone, this knife took considerably more time and effort than the others.

The Integrated handle is what sold me on this knife - no seam to hold dirt, and a nice, clean look. In reality, food became stuck in a groove between the knife part and the handle part, negating the use of one material.

One huge plus is the incredible price offered by Amazon. They charge almost nothing for this knife, especially when you consider the prices of the Sabatier, Wusthof and Henckels. If you want a nearly perfect knife for peanuts, by all means buy this one. If you already have one of the famous-for-a-good-reason chef's knives, this one brings nothing new to the party, and you will likely be dissatisfied.

Summary: exceeds expectations
Comment: Great knife. I read other reviews on here that said the knife was dangerously sharp. That is not the case it is just a good sharp knife. It slices through onions quick enough that you do not have time to tear up. I just wished that I bought the whole knife set instead of the single unit.

Summary: great knife but watch it
Comment: This is my first high quality knife, and i love it but i have a piece of advice, BE CAREFUL because when it arrived i opened it and while washing it before use i slipped somehow and sliced myself real nice, it wasnt bad, no stitches or anything, and you want a sharp knife just be real careful and take the time to learn proper cutting and knife safety. But if your looking for a nice sharp knife for a great price id recommend this knife for sure

Glassware and dishes should be stored in cabinets or shelves near the sink. Frequently used pots and pans could be stowed between the sink and cook top or from a hanging rack.
