Summary: big, but works well
Comment: This pedometer is definitely large. I guess I didn't read that it was a "pocket" pedometer. It's almost the size of a cell phone, so it's a little hard to wear everyday. It does count your steps very accurately though, which is the main point!

Summary: I love this product!
Comment: I recently purchased this product after seeing the success a friend was having in his weight loss regimen. This pedometer does a great job of motivating me to take more steps. I also like the fact that I can download all my data to my laptop every night. This comes in very handy for making sure that I'm meeting my goals. I actually kick myself when I forget to wear it.

Summary: Don't they have Beta Testers?
Comment: Amazon offered a package deal with the Omron HEM 670IT Wrist Blood Pressure monitor.that also uses the Advanced Omron Health Management Software. You can store your exercise readings alongside your blood pressure readings. So, I ordered them as a pair.
Here's where things go awry. You'd think that Omron would've designed both units to use the same cable, but you'd be wrong. I anticipated being able to use the same cable on both units, leaving one cable at home and the other cable at work, so I didn't have to constantly tote a cable. Well, since the don't use the same cable, I have to tote both cables
The pedometer uses a Lithium "coin" battery (who ever has the right replacement on hand when they need it?) and requires a miniture cross-point screwdriver to change it.
I give this combo 3 stars, but with a little forethought on Omron's part it could'a been a 5.
A+

Summary: Makes you want to walk...
Comment: I've tried several pedometers which turned out to be a waste of money. All of them were worn on the hip, supposedly measuring your steps when the leg moved. If you moved the unit, it would count a step, whether you were walking or not. I once walked 2 miles with one and it said I went 50 feet. A friend of mine bought this product and loved it. So, on her word, I bought one too. And I love it. You can wear it anywhere, even in your purse or a pocket, and it works. I don't know the mechanics of it...I really don't care. I care that it's accurate. It comes with program that tracks your steps or distance, calories, even aerobic steps.

Summary: 4 stars
Comment: I really like this pedometer because it comes with software that helps you keep track of your goals. The software will graph how many steps you took were aerobic. The only complaint I have is when I do my workout tapes with Jillian (biggest loser chic) it counts the steps as regular and not aerobic. I mean come on she has you doing high knees....that is high intensity. I am still glad I bought it. I will not go to bed until my 12,000 steps are completed.
