Comment: I have been using this razor every day for a little over one month. I did not try any other razors before buying this one. I relied on Consumer Reports that,although another shaver was rated a little better than this one, one should buy this one as it was $110 dollars cheaper. They rated it a BEST BUY. I have been satisfied with its performance and speed. I can also recommend it for someone looking to buy a men's shaver.

Comment: This foil shaver was rated a "Best Buy" in Consumer Reports, but I found it less effective than the old rotary electric I'd been using. It misses numerous whiskers, even after repeated strokes. The charging-alert light comes on sooner than expected, and it was only after receiving the shaver that I learned its battery is not replaceable, which means that when it dies the shaver is finished. Remington says it should last 4 to 5 years, but that sounds iffy. Also, if you have to plug it in for a recharge so often, you might as well use a corded razor to begin with.
