Summary: Safe and fun
Comment: I have 1-yr-old twin sons, and I'm glad I found this product. One of my sons loves carrying it around and the other simply does not like anything on his back. My 6-yr-old daughter loves it, although I didn't buy it for her. In one word, it's a cute safety product.

Summary: Fabulous new friend!
Comment: We bought this for our 2 1/2 year old who is exceptionally independent and strong-willed for an overseas trip. We have been getting him used to it around the malls here at home and have found it to be great! He doesn't mind it at all - in fact, thinks of the bear as a new friend who follows him around! The flipside of the coin is that he does eventually get a touch annoyed at not being able to go where and when he wants. The bonuses however, well and truely outweigh the negatives of it. I don't think he will be able to undo it at all for a long time yet and the 'tail' is definately long enough for you to keep a sense of control over the child. The worst part of it would have to be those parents (and mainly nosey grandparents!) who openly comment (negatively) on you using it. My advice: IGNORE THEM. This is way better than hunting in a panic for a lost child in a foreign place where you don't speak the same language! Money well spent.

Comment: I got the frog one to use with my granddaughter. I have had it for 6 months and it wonderful. She can feel independent and I can keep her safe. She loves it also. She will ask to get it on because she knows that it means going out somewhere. We now have a puppy and so she gets her frog and the puppy on the other leash and we can go anywhere safe. At the store she feels so grown up but once again I feel she is safe.

Comment: I have a 3 year old who is developmentally delayed, and she does not understand when you tell her stay here(dangerous situation)! She is too heavy for strollers anymore, so I bought this for visits to the mall, or park etc... It is awesome, she loves to cuddle with it, and it is adjustable to fit larger toddlers as well as the little ones. I was worried about fit, but she has lots of room left on the adjustable straps! The zippered pocket on the back isn't as large as I expected, but since she hasn't gotten to the packrat stage yet, it works fine for us. I do wish the head was slightly lower down, it falls directly behind her own, and if she turns her head a lot, it will tangle her hair, and sometimes she gets mad at the bear for "following" her. It works exactly as intended though, it has already saved her once from getting in the street, good thing that strap is strong, you have never seen a kid move that fast!! overall well worth the money i paid, and if something happened to this one, i would definitely purchase another to replace it!
