Comment: I recently purchased this gate, and wish I had known about it before I spent nearly $200.00 on another gate and extensions to fit a doorway of 53" that broke already! This gate is easy to assemble, VERY sturdy, and easy to move. I even traveled with this gate! The chocolate and cream color are attractive, and so is the price! If i would have found this gate earlier, i would have bought 3 or 4 of them. The only issue i can see for others would be that you must step over the gate while it is up, unless you want to take it down and put it back up again. I'm 5'3" and have absolutely no problem stepping over it. However, my husband and I are both athletic and agile. Still, the gate is only about 27" tall. If that is a problem for you, it is still a perfect gate for even a low traffic area, and great to take to grandma's or a friend's house! I highly reccomend this gate!

Comment: We bought this gate for our 9 month old crawling baby for use at the bottom of stairs. It works extremely well for areas with uneven surfaces. We use it on a wall that has one side with trim and it works well because you can adjust each side to different lengths if needed.
The only negative is that the adjustment requires you turn the knobs and this can take some time if you have a wide opening or if you need to move the gate a lot. I would suggest getting two gates rather than trying to move one if you do so often.
