Summary: Great Baby Shower Gift
Comment: I bought this drum for my daughter when she was three months old. (I know she was a little young) She really started playing with it around six months old. She would use the drum to help her sit up. There is a song that the drum plays that she loves. She dances every time she hears it. I like how you can change the language from English to Spanish. Hopefully, it will help her learn her ABC's in both languages. My daughter loves it so much we have given it as a baby shower gift three times.

Summary: A little boring
Comment: this toy was good for my daughter when she was a baby and just beginning to walk and talk, but now she's bored of it. It was good for very basic play but as soon as she was ready for more advanced play (probably 1 year old) she became bored with it.
Just a personal peeve also, it constantly repeats the invitations to play, so prepared to have those drilled into your brain every time it's used.

Summary: Kinda Lame
Comment: The problem with this drum is that it's always playing music, on any of the three settings (except on one setting, but only when it's lying sideways?!), so a child cannot learn cause and effect: to associate his/her own beating on it with it making a sound.

Summary: Loads of fun and educational too!
Comment: My two year old got this for Christmas last year and has been enjoying it ever since. Very fun and educational too. Kids like to bang on things, so why not have the alphabet answer them!

Summary: Son loves hitting this, wished it went off easier though
Comment: Sometimes hits dont make it trigger. Have to whack it pretty hard
A more sensitive sensor should be used. However, son enjoys this (6 months).
Music mode and drum mode is kind of annoying. Background music and not the same sound every time. I would suggest Drum mode, and then options to have different sounds selected instead of rotating.
